Burnout spiritual successor based on Burnout 3: Takedown

Kevin Dooley On October 10, 2015

One week ago we brought you news that two of the co-founders of Criterion Games (the folks that brought us the amazing Burnout series) announced that they are working on a spiritual successor to the aforementioned series.

After some teasing to which game the co-founders (now part of the Three Fields development team) should work on, they have now confirmed they will take strong cues from the third installment in the long-running series – Burnout 3: Takedown.
The "Shiny Red Something" was actually the working title for the very first burnout game, it's unclear whether they are using it officially as the working title, or final title for that matter (probably not). Three Fields have confirmed that the pre-production research has began and are asking for people to spread the word about their new game as they are a “really small team”.

Don't worry Three Fields we'll do our best on that! We wish the dev team all the best and we'll look forward to seeing more on this game. We will of course keep you guys up to date as more develops.
