Our excitement for Assetto Corsa has just shifted up a gear, as developer Kunos Simulazioni has revealed a special addition to the car roster: the legendary 1985 Lotus 98T, famously driven by the late Ayrton Senna in the golden age of Formula One. These turbo charged machines meant that the stakes were incredibly high: you had to be a very brave man indeed to drive these machines to the limit.
Once again, it's pleasing to see how lovingly recreated the car models are in Assetto Corsa, and the Lotus 98T is no exception. As far as I'm aware, this marks the first time the Lotus 98T has been featured in a driving game, too, which is of course a big plus point for Assetto Corsa.
Simply put, we're absolutely itching to get behind the wheel – Assetto Corsa can't come soon enough, but we look forward to further tantalising car reveals in the run-up to its release.
