News Assetto Corsa: We take the Ferrari Formula One car for a drive

With all the excitement of the upcoming release on consoles later this month we check out the PC version of Assetto Corsa.
More specifically we head over to the iconic Spa circuit and we pilot the fantastic 2015 Ferrari FS15-T Formula One racing car from the recently released Red Pack DLC. We had to drive fairly cautiously throughout the first lap as our tyres were cold but they soon got up to temperature and we were pushing the car by the time the second lap got underway.
The AI drivers were particularly fast we thought and provided ample challenge. Indeed we struggled to keep up with the opponents and our mirrors were more often than not full of aggressive red Ferraris that were extremely eager to pass.
Overall we are very impressed with the visuals of the Formula One car, the steering wheel in particular is extremely detailed and impressive. The handling of the car felt good and we were happy enough with the car's audio. Check out the Assetto Corsa gameplay below.
