The in-development racing simulator Assetto Corsa Competizione will make its public debut at E3 2018 next week, publisher 505 Games has confirmed.
Set to be showcased on the Thrustmaster stand, Assetto Corsa Competizione will also be making its public debut at the E3 gaming expo – with an array of booths running pre-alpha versions of the Kunos Simulazioni-developed title.
Included in the pre-alpha Assetto Corsa Competizione builds at E3 2018 will be a decent selection of content. Two cars will be available in the E3 builds, as well as “several tracks” that will be further “enriched” by simulated day/night cycles and changing weather conditions.
E3 2018 attendants will be able to play these pre-alpha Assetto Corsa Competizione builds with some of the latest sim racing equipment. As well as featuring Sparco’s Evolve cockpits, the Thrustmaster booth at E3 will also have examples of the peripheral maker’s wheel ecosystem lineup on display.
First announced in February 2018, Assetto Corsa Competizione is positioned more as a more motorsports-focused spin-off to the original game. Still scheduled for release later this year, Assetto Corsa Competizione is also the official game of the Blancpain GT Series, with all the cars and tracks featured in the two Blancpain championships set to be represented in the racing simylator.
