Busy preparing their 2012 line-up, today we see the first screen shots for WRC 3 and gameplay for SBK Generations. Kicking of with WRC 3 and it is clear the environments are looking far more detailed with improved lighting, no doubt building on assets developed for WRC 2, we look forward to a hands on later in the year. Meanwhile SBK Generations readies itself for release, assets certainly a long way behind in coming out, the game looks remarkably similar to last years itteration at this stage. We don't have lots of details but expect the usual range of tracks and riders besides the return of the legends line-up in some form.

As a fan of the SBK series, including still owning an original copy of SBK 2001 for the PC, it seems to me that Milestone are stuck in a rut with the SBK series.

SBK 2011 was SBK X with a few small tweaks and SBK Generations is the entire series dating back to SBK '08 rolled into one game.

Milestone should be derided for not updating the WSS and WSTK classes to 2012 - they've missed an opportunity to be the first game to feature the 1198 Panigale. On the plus side, 17 tracks is a decent amount but no mention of the Moscow Raceway track makes me a sad. I'd like to say it'll be in a DLC pack but Bleackbean don't tend to support games once released....
