Xbox One users now have another wheel to choose from, as Thrustmaster have announced the TMX Force Feedback Wheel compatible for Xbox One and PC.

Designed for players on a budget, the Thrustmaster TMX's force feedback motor features a mixed belt-pulley and gears system with metal ball-bearing axle with a "balanced combination of performance, robustness and precision."

The TMX wheel's rotation ranges from 270° to 900° to suit all players and 12-bit resolution (4096 values) provided by an optical sensor for precise steering.

Measuring at 11”/28 cm diameter, the Thrustmaster TMX wheel is coated with a comfortable rubber grip and, like most Thrustmaster wheels, features wheel-mounted metal shifting paddles within easy reach,  a d-pad and 12 action buttons mapped to the Xbox One controller.

A plastic two pedal pedal set is included with the TMX wheel with adjustable angles of inclination and progressive resistance on the brake pedal for added realism. Of course, the TMX is compatible with Thrustmaster's range of racing peripheral add-ons, so you can upgrade the pedals to the swankier T3PA or T3PA-Pro sets or equip a Thrustmaster TH8A gear shifter sold separately.

The Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback Wheel is expected to go on sale in May with a suggested retail price of $199.99/£169.99.

Essentially, the TMX looks like the Xbox One equivalent to the Thrustmaster T150 Force Feedback Wheel available for PS4 and PS3, but at least there is now an affordable alternative to the Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel Ferrari F458 Italia Edition.
