The wait is over: the final AAA racing game launch of the year is finally here, in what has been a hotly contested few months with the likes of Forza Horizon 2 and DriveClub jostling for position. After a series of delays and countless beta testing sessions, Ubisoft's ambitious MMO racer The Crew has hit the open road, closing 2014 with a bang.
You can expect a host of in-depth video and written coverage on The Crew here at TeamVVV, but for now here's a look at the rousing launch trailer to commemorate its release.

Now that's how you do a launch trailer. It may not show any actual gameplay since it's composed of CGI, but it's a suitably elaborate showcase of the game's diverse locales, car classes and unbridled open world freedom. In fact, it seems like a successor to the memorable announcement CGI trailer way back in E3 2013. If only those graphics were in-game…
