News Team VVV Podcast 39: GT Sport, Gravel, Micro Machines

Welcome to another episode of the Team VVV Podcast for all your weekly racing game rambles. 

This week, we give our initial impressions on some of the Gran Turismo Sport beta videos floating around the internet. While the improvements to the visuals, audio, and physics show signs of encouragement, the game's focus on online eSports makes us wonder if there will be enough single player content to satisfy players looking for a more traditional Gran Turismo game experience. 

Meanwhile, DiRT 4 and Project CARS 2 have an unexpected competitor, as official rallycross content has been confirmed for Milestone's Gravel, which is looking like a glorious return to arcade racers that have been sorely lacking this generation.  

Speaking of retired racing game genes, Codemasters' Micro Machines making a belated comeback with the release of Micro Machines World Series on PS4, Xbox One and PC. We give our initial impressions on the first gameplay trailer featuring the booming voice of Brian Blessed.

Elsewhere, we give our initial impressions on Snow Moto Racing Freedom, and discuss the new release of ATV Renegades – a game with graphics so outdated, you'd be forgiven for mistaking it for a PS2 game.
