We take our first look at Carmageddon Max Damage with a classic Carma event at Maim Street.
Classic Carma events are interesting as they can be won in one of three ways: finish the required number of laps, wreck all of your opponents, or run over all of the map's pedestrians.
For our first look we decide to try and win the event by completing laps, although admittedly we can't help but mow over the odd pedestrian or 70 along the way. Vehicle handling is on the heavy side so you'll need to activate the hand brake on just about every turn which initiates a satisfying slide which not only gets you through corners nicely but can also be used to splatter unsuspecting pedestrians.
