News Second part of Gran Turismo 6’s ‘Red Bull X Challenge’ events “will be available at the end of Janua

Polyphony Digital has confirmed the final two events in Gran Turismo 6's 'Red Bull X Challenge' series "will be available at the end of January"

Responding to user confusion over the now-incorrect 'these events will be available on January 1st 2014' placeholder, the GT developer has now  the final two events in the special in-game events – set to feature the X2014 Standard and X2014 Fan Cars, designed in collaboration with the Red Bull Racing F1 team's legendary chief designer, Adrian Newey – will be added to the game before the month is out.

Along with the ETA announcement, Polyphony has also revealed the placeholder release date as quoted in Gran Turismo 6 will be corrected in a soon-to-be-released update, which does suggest that there may be more than one patch for the PS3 exclusive on the horizon.

The 'Red Bull X Challenge' events were first introduced to Gran Turismo 6 in the V1.02 'Christmas Update' patch in December last year, adding the inaugural two X Challenge championships – along with the Red Bull Racing Kart and X2014 Junior single seater – to the game.
