News Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO gateway & sector modes gameplay

We check out the Gateway and Sector Battle modes in our very latest Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO gameplay video.

We start off with the Gateway mode where the game tasks you to pass through one of three gates constructed of tyres. You won't know which gate to pass until you get reasonably close to them which is a good test of your reflexes. The road surface is also constantly changing adding to the difficulty curve which makes for a satisfying challenge.

After two Gateway challenges we decide to focus our attention on the Sector Battle mode. Here you'll need to achieve the best sector times possible, once you have the best sector time it will turn green on the mini-map and you will be awarded points. After the timer has counted down to zero, the player with the most points wins. We chose the Escort RS Cosworth which tended to understeer on the tarmac and was tricky to drive on the dirt surface.
