Rumour: DiRT Rally may be coming to consoles sooner than you think

DiRT Rally could well be coming to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles sooner than you think, thanks to a Japanese ratings board for DiRT Rally which has been dug up recently.

The Taiwanese rating board entry, found by Twitter user “lifelower” who acts as a watchdog searching for all the upcoming releases, displays DiRT Rally by Codemasters for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles as seen below.

It of course always made good business sense for Codemasters to release DiRT Rally for the consoles, but even so, many feared that the game would not grace Sony and Microsoft's console so this is very good news indeed, if true, for those guys.

Alas the rating boards do not display a date (well certainly not in English, my Taiwanese leaves a lot to be desired, but it's probably a good bet we'll see the game release for the current gen consoles in early 2016. That's of course if Codemasters doesn't spring another massive surprise on us and release it before the end of the year.
