Following the success of the first closed beta, Psyonix have just launched their second closed multiplayer beta for their fast-paced car-soccer game Rocket League.

The goal of the second beta is to focus on fine tuning the game's matchmaking and server performance. However, it also sees the inclusion of the tutorial and training modes, as well as a 4v4 Chaos mode. Other additions include two new arenas – Mannfield and the training mode arena Beckwith Park.

To celebrate the launch of Rocket League's second closed beta, Psyonix have released a beta community montage made entirely from footage of the game's first closed beta, check it out below.

The final version of Rocket League will feature an offline and online season mode, two to four player online, local and split screen modes, team-focused play, 150 customisation options and more.

The second closed beta will run until May 19 and you can sign up here. Rocket League will release for the Playstation 4 console, Psyonix have still not yet announced a release date. We'll keep you updated on the car soccer game as soon as we know more.
