News Rocket League’s ice hockey map gets release date

There's good news and bad news for Rocket League fans. The good news is that the free ice hockey themed map will be arriving on December 14 and is known as the “Snow Day Mutator”, the bad news is that it will replace the current “Mutator Mashup” playlist aww.
The new Snow Day mutator covers the ground in ice and the ball is replaced with an ice hockey puck which should make for some interesting and fast-paced gameplay. It will be sad to see the mutator mashup playlists vanish but it has to be said they were probably more miss than hit if truth be told (still the pinball mode was pretty awesome).
The new map will be accompanied by several new garage items as part of the “Winter Games Event”. The new items can simply be obtained by playing the game, check out the new items below which will be available until January 4 (if you unlock them, they're yours forever).

- "Christmas Tree" Topper
- "Sad Sapling" Topper
- "Santa" Topper
- "Candy Cane" Antenna
