Milestone's post-release support has been heavily criticised in past releases. Purchase a season pass for last year's Ride, and the content on offer was slim pickings to say the least. With Ride 2 however, that's about to change.

Milestone has outlined their DLC plans for Ride 2, confirming that the game will be supported with 15 DLC packs between now and July 2017 – including plenty of free content.

Ride 2 future DLC plans

In addition to the recently released Limited Edition Bikes Pack, five more premium DLC packs will be released every month until April 2017 including Ducati, Rising Sun, Exotic, Competition and Collector bike packs. The next DLC due to be released is the Ducati Bike pack on December 7th.

In addition, nine free packs will be released containing two bikes each, bringing the total to 18 free bikes you can look forward to in Ride 2.

With over 40 new bikes coming to Ride 2, this is a significant step up from what we've seen before. Three patches have also already been released for Ride 2 – finally, it seems that Milestone has finally upped their game when it comes to post-release support.
