Revisiting the PlayStation 1 classic Destruction Derby

Kevin Dooley On January 20, 2017

Destruction Derby was released in 1995 and was a launch title for Sony's first ever console the PlayStation.

We are massive fans of Destruction Derby here at Team VVV and so this really brought back found memories for us. It may not look like much but to the 1995 versions of ourselves, this was mind blowing!

Destruction Derby was not just about the demolition derby bowl arena action either, (although it was great) there were a decent selection of tracks which could be raced with points dished out either according to finishing position or by the smashing into opponents depending on the game mode.

Check out our look at the retro racer below and let us know in the comments if you have any fond memories of the title.
