As well as re-mastered tracks and new meteorological effects, several new and rather impressive vehicles were also revealed at TGS. The finished game will include over 1000 cars, some regular classics and others updated from previous models, although some shown at TGS weren't your run of the mill racers... One such car was the X1 Prototype Project, created in a collaboration between Red Bull Racing and Polyphony Digital, GT creator Kazunori Yamauchi explained that both teams involved in the design were interested in building a car for maximum performance and that will be “the fastest racing car on land.” To see a snippet of the car in action check out the video below:
