Release Date: 12/02/2013

We already knew it was happening this week, but SimBin's public open beta for RaceRoom Racing Experience has started its engines as of today, allowing users to test drive a selection of cars, try out their new online store and bask in SimBin's world-renowned physics and graphics technology.

Just as we previously reported, the open beta's freebies include the 134 Judd car driven by the late Georg Plasa, Canhard R52, Saleen S7R, Aquila CR1 Sports GT and the DMD P20 together with the RaceRoom Raceway circuit and the scenic Lakeview Hillclimb which is based on a forest road in Sweden.

Additional content can be purchased using Virtual Race Points on their new online store – new cars are already available to buy for a small fee from the likes of McLaren, RUF, BMW, and Chevrolet, along with the Circuit Park Zandvoort and Australia's Bathurst circuit, which was also recently confirmed for Real Racing 3

As a bonus, SimBin is currently offering the more advanced driving model, known as the 'GetReal' mode, and Apex Hunt, which we presume is a visual apex aid commonly seen in racing simulators, free of charge for the first two weeks as a thank you to members who took part in the closed beta.

So what are you waiting for?  Hop over to Steam and download the open beta for RaceRoom Racing Experience!

We're eager to gather your feedback on R3E – let us know what you think of the open beta in the comments below, on our Facebook page or on our forum in our RaceRoom Racing Experience thread
