Continuing with our recent trend of comparison videos, we now pit the replay footage of Project CARS up against that of the recently released F1 2015 title.

You can see F1 2015 footage at the top half of the screen and Project CARS at the bottom half. Both games are running on a Playstation 4 console with Project CARS' replay footage running at 60 frames per second (fps) and F1 2015 running at 30 fps.

The comparison showcases just how far racing games have come in terms of providing players with decent TV-style replays. F1 2015 really excels here which is not surprisingly really as Codemasters were setting out to achieve a TV-style presentation to their racer. Project CARS also has decent replays but are probably a little gamey in places when compared to F1 2015's.

Of course Project CARS' replays do run at a smooth 60 fps compared to F1 2015's 30fps, so compromises were perhaps made on both titles. It would be nice to see future racing titles with TV-style replays that run at 60 fps.
