News Project Cars Audi R8 LMP900 at Watkins Glen gameplay

After sampling the 1989 Audi 90 IMSA GTO in a recent Project CARS video, we thought we'd try out yet another of the legendary Audis which were released last month for Slightly Mad Studios' racer.

This time around we get behind the wheel of the incredible Audi R8 LMP900 which has won the American Le Mans Series six times. We take the monstrous Audi to Watkins Glen and take part in a short 5-lap race.

Alan notices that the R8 LMP900 struggles for grip at high speeds and tends to spin out. The car was fun to drive but he felt it needed a bit more stability which would make him more comfortable with the car so he could push it harder.

At one point in the gameplay Alan gets side-by-side with an AI opponent but decides to let them take the upcoming corner first as he has no confidence that the AI driver would've given him enough room to complete the move.
