News Project CARS: Chevrolet Corvette C7.R at Nordschleife

We continue our coverage of the recently released US Car Pack for Project CARS with a look at the Chevrolet Corvette C7.R.
The Corvette C7.R was one of five cars (if you include the not so American Aston Martin Vantage GT12 bonus car) introduced in the US Car Pack, and we decide to take it to the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife track.
We are driving from the cockpit perspective with the replay footage at the lower portion of the video. We notice straight away just how heavy the Corvette is as it squirms around on us, it required a fairly cautious driving style to avoid spinning up the wheels for instance.
Driving the Corvette was very much a learning process, each turn giving us more and more feedback. After some hairy moments we tended to use a higher gear to aid grip through the turns which settled the car down nicely to give us more confidence to push harder.
