Project CARS 2's marketing campaign to start in a matter of weeks

Kevin Dooley On January 6, 2017

Slightly Mad Studios' CEO Ian Bell has confirmed on the official Project CARS forum that the marketing campaign for Project CARS 2 will start in just a matter of weeks.

This of course adds much weight to the “Septemberish” release window stated by Bell recently which raised a large number of eyebrows given the silence from the developers of late.

Bell has also stated that the recently leaked Project CARS 2 screenshots were “ancient” and that the title “looks so much better now”.

According to Bell, Project CARS 2 will not be without any of the famous automotive brands this time around meaning we will see the likes of Porsche after EA's exclusive license expired recently. The sequel boasts improved physics, drivetrain , differential and tyre modelling systems along with enhanced force feedback which should make the action even more realistic and intense this time around.

Needless to say, Project CARS 2 is one of our most anticipated games for 2017. We expect it will expand upon its ballsy first installment which had a wealth of content, different times of day racing, dynamic weather and more besides which put to shame recent offerings from much larger studios.

We'll keep a close eye on all the latest developments as we draw ever closer to the start of the marketing campaign for Project CARS 2.
