The Porsche marque has made its official debut in Forza Horizon 3, via the release of an all-new premium car pack.
Along with the new DLC, it was also confirmed Porsche and Xbox has formed a new "multi-project partnership" that will "bring a suite of new, co-branded experiences to the Forza franchise" - the first of which commencing in this year's Porsche-themed Season 3 of the Forza Racing Championship eSports series.
The aforementioned Porsche DLC contains the following seven vehicles from the German auto maker:
1955 Porsche 550A Spyder
1960 Porsche 718 RS 60
1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS
1995 Porsche 911 GT2
2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
2016 Porsche Cayman GT4
2017 Porsche Panamera Turbo
Additionally, the 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster has been introduced to Forza Horizon 3 as a yet-to-be-made-accessible barn find vehicle. The following four Porsches will also be offered at different points over the next few weeks as limited-time Forzathon challenge prizes:
1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3
1987 Porsche 959
2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0
2014 Porsche 918 Spyder
It's unknown at time of writing if and when the other Porsches featured in the Forza Horion 3 debug build leak earlier this year will be added to the game. As the Porsche DLC was originally presumed to be Forza Horizon 3's second expansion pack, it remains to be seen what the follow-up to the Blizzard Mountain DLC will be.
The Forza Horizon 3 Porsche Car Pack is available to purchase from the Windows 10 Store and Xbox Games Store for £5.79.
