News Nissan GT-R Nismo coming to Gran Turismo 6 “soon”

The Nissan GT-R Nismo has been scheduled for release in Gran Turismo 6, Polyphony Digital CEO and Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed.
As stated on a new video by Nismo (Nissan's tuning and motorsports division), the halo model in the GT-R range is "ready for the game", and should be released in Gran Turismo 6 "soon".
No specific details on when the GT-R Nismo will be made available have been disclosed at time of writing, or if Gran Turismo 6 players will be able to acquire the car for free or not.
Nissan has also released a new video showcasing its Nissan Connect NISMO Plus service, which will allow GT-R Nismo customers to view their runs on real life tracks as a replay on Gran Turismo 6. Whilst no other information has been released, it does provide us with the first glimpse at the high-end performance car in Gran Turismo 6.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo is a circuit-honed version of the standard GT-R road car, featuring additional power, more downforce and components pinched from the homologated GT-R GT3 racing car. The "Time Attack" version of the GT-R Nismo is also the fourth-fastest production car to lap the Nurburging Nordschliefe (7minutes, 8.68 seconds) and the fastest ever supercar to complete the Goodwood Hill Climb (49.27 seconds).
