So far we've tried out a wealth of PC racing sims on the TeamVVV Test Rig, but now it's time for something different. Taking a welcome break from all the serious simulators, Alan turned his swanky setup into a banger racer for a bash at BugBear's Next Car Game, a game that's whetted my appetite for destruction since its Early Access release last December.
While I found the cockpit camera to be a tad restrictive in my last run (particularly as the crumpled remains of the car kept obscuring my view), playing Next Car Game on a triple screen setup eliminates this completely, with an extended field of view allowing you to keep tabs on those ruthless racers trying to take you out.
Then there's the fact that playing Next Car Game with a triple screen setup puts you right in the thick of the action. Weaving past 24 cars piling into each other was already chaotic and exhilerating in my playthrough, but experiencing the mass carnage on a triple screen ramps up the immersion to the point you'll be trying to pick shards of glass out of your teeth.
So, without further ado, we ask you to marvel at the mayhem as Alan embarks in a series of white-knuckle full contact races on the gravel, tarmac and recently-added Figure of 8 track.
