News New Octagon map plus two others coming to Rocket League

If the upcoming Rumble Mode for Rocket League complete with ridiculous powerups such as grappling hooks and tornados wasn't exciting enough, developer Psyonix Studios has also revealed that their car football title will be receiving three new maps including one that is octagonal in shape.
The octagonal map has the amazingly imaginative name of Octagon and has a VR theme. The map is available to play online as well as within the game's exhibition mode and its eight sided walls should make for some interesting gameplay and tactics.
The second and third of the new maps (below) both take on a traditional rectangle shape and much like the Octagon can be played online and in exhibition with the added bonus of also being available to play in both ranked and private matches.
The three maps are expected to be available in an update coming in September.
