Our hands-on gameplay video coverage of Need for Speed: Rivals continues in part 2, as Alan explores some of the events you can play as the in-game police. Except of course this is Need for Speed, so you won't be seeing Vauxhall Astra police cars patrolling Redview County. Alan's car of choice was the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish pursuit special - you know you've had it when you see one of these in your rear view mirror. If only the police force here in Britain were this well equipped.
In this video, Alan takes part in an online response event before engaging in a Hot Pursuit for a classic, adrenaline-filled Need for Speed cop vs. racers chase experience, taking down crims while admiring the lavish scenery powered by Frostbite 3.
Alan wasn't the biggest fan of last year's Need for Speed: Most Wanted to say the least, but Need for Speed: Rivals seems to have won him over. From my point of view, it's certainly looking like a return to form for the misguided series, with developer EA Ghost mashing together all the best components of previous fan favourites such as Hot Pursuit and Underground before it went off course.
Alan did you ever play Race Pro from Atari for Xbox 360? I actually played it when it first came out then started playing Forza and I forgot about the game. Thing is the Formula 3000 part of the game was great and the tracks were awesome. Check it out. LOL started playing it again
Yes its a shame the hardware manufacturers are taking this stance.
this will be the first f1 i'll skip since 10. waiting for 15 i think will be much more sensible than splashing cash on both of them
not sure how i can get a hand on this, considering the country that i'm in, hey ho that's life
when it's going to be released, isn't it in september?
