Release Date: 20/06/2014

MotoGP '14 raced triumphantly off the line last week on PC, PS4 and Xbox 360, but those waiting for the handheld version on Vita will unfortunately have to wait little a while longer. Developer Milestone has announced a last minute delay for the Vita version, which will now be released on different dates for each country. UK retailer GAME is currently listing a July 4th release, so it's not too long a delay in the UK, at least.

Still, at least Vita owners will still get the chance to experience MotoGP '14, unlike disgruntled Xbox One owners.

No word on how the Vita version compares to its console counterparts yet, but it should be a respectable recreation judging from past releases such as WRC. Traditionally, a Vita trailer would have usually been released by now, but no footage has materialised yet. Rest assured we will endeavor to retrieve some video content if any opportunity arises.

You have to give Kudos to Milestone for continually supporting the Vita, despite other developers rapidly dropping out. Since WRC 3, the developer has developed a knack without any content cutbacks, resulting in near-identical ports that are genuinely impressive to behold on a handheld system. Their previous game, MXGP, was even developed independently specifically for the Vita as opposed to being ported, which we'll be taking a look at soon.
