News McLaren licence acquired for Assetto Corsa

The crew at Kunos Simulazioni may be busy finishing off Assetto Corsa and updating the title's Technology Preview Demo, but that doesn't mean they can't agree on a few licence deals every now and again.
The latest car maker that's been confirmed for an appearance in the upcoming PC sim title is McLaren, with the two that will be included in Assetto Corsa from launch being the MP4-12C supercar and the homologated 12C GT3 race car.
As stated in the official press release, the two 12C variants have been selected to satisfy both the street car enthusiasts, and the simracing drivers who, with this addition, will get an amazing line-up for their GTR races in Assetto Corsa".
The release also went on to say that additional McLarens will also be included post-launch as "future additional content".
