MXGP2 is just a few weeks away from its April 1 launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and developer Milestone have lifted the veil on the title's customisation options and the new track test mode.
As with recent games from Milestone, MXGP2 continues the tradition of granting players the option to create their own rider. This means you can edit several elements: helmet, racewear, neckbrace, goggles and boots.

Additionally, you can change your name, number and font on your racing gear and of course choose your rider's nationality. Bikes too benefit from customisation, you can change tyres, graphics, suspension, exhausts and much more according to Milestone.

Also revealed recently are details on MXGP2's track test mode. This is said to be designed so that players can master their machines to squeeze out every last bit of performance. The track test mode features an open area where you can either freely ride around in or start a timed session where you can compete against the clock. Check out the trailer below.
If the track test mode sounds at all familiar to you it's probably because it somewhat matches the test drive mode found in Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO from the same developers. We won't have long to wait to see if MXGP2 can improve on the original game released two years ago now.
We've got lots more on MXGP2 coming up very shortly so stay tuned.
