A selection of performance boosts and wheel support options have been introduced to the PC version of Forza Horizon 3 via a new update.

Released for PC players in the same patch that contains the Hot Wheels Expansion content, the highlights of the update are the new "targeted optimisations" for players with limited CPU capacities.

For example, an optional new threading model has been introduced, with claims this setting will "make better use of all available [processor] cores". Synchronisation stalls have also allegedly been reduced, and players will have access to a new 'very low' graphics options for vehicle LODs and geometry rendering upon installing the update.

In addition to the visual options and performance improvements, the new Forza Horizon 3 PC patch also expans the range of wheels that are officially supported. The new wheels that are now compatible with Forza Horizon 3 have been listed below:
