News Is The Crew’s massive open-world about to expand further?

Ubisoft have posted a video of their recent community event where many people from the racing game community (YouTubers, site admins, competition winners etc.) were invited to the Ivory Tower studios to get a hands on with The Crew's upcoming Wild Run expansion.

During the video, (below, around 3:17) Ivory Tower producer Stephane Beley drops a massive hint that The Crew's massive open-world may just get even bigger: “The detail in the world which is a huge part here, I really feel it can be made even more special. That's the one thing The Crew really has going for itself, it has an amazing world and I feel that can keep being developed on” said Beley.

If that wasn't enough of a hint the very next segment includes a community member saying “Open the game's borders, more terrain if it's technically possible.” I imagine it would be a lot easier for Ivory Tower to include the likes of Canada and Mexico rather than expand the existing US map.

Recently Ubisoft acquired Ivory Tower so news on The Crew expanding further is perhaps not too much of a surprise. However this could of course mean a sequel may be in the works, perhaps we could one day see the game head over to Europe for instance, now that I would love to see.
