Aquiris Games Studios have released the official launch trailer for their upcoming retro inspired racer Horizon Chase.
The game, which has obvious cues from 80's and 90's games such as OutRun, Lotus Turbo Challenge and Top Gear, will release on August 20 for iOS devices. Horizon Chase is also currently in development for the PC platform although no release date has yet been set.
Horizon Chase offers a total of 73(!) tracks, 32 cities and 8 cups all coming together in a 16-bit inspired soup. You'll face different weather conditions in Horizon Chase which include rain and fog, there's also night racing to get your teeth into too.
Horizon Chase will feel like a breath of fresh (retro) air with its fast-paced gameplay and its fun and colourful vibe. The nostalgia has been really hit home here with the developer hiring the very composer that worked on classics like Top Gear, Lotus Turbo Challenge and Rush. The iOS version will cost £2.99 / $2.99 / $2.99 and doesn't feature any in-app purchases whatsoever according to Aquiris.
