News Gran Turismo Sports preorder for PS4 listed on Croatian retailer site

A Croatian retailer, which has links to Sony Computer Entertainment, recently published a pre-order listing of a Playstation 4 title called 'Gran Turismo Sports' along with a rather crude placeholder “Gran Turismo 7” image with logo.
According to GTPlanet.net, a trusted "insider" named 'Amar212' first revealed the 'Gran Turismo Sport' title name on a post found on Neogaf last month which adds to the validity of the intriguing name.
With the absence of the '7' from its name it begs the question, are we about to get a spinoff game from the main series? Is Polyphony Digital working on an open-world title to rival the Forza Horizon games? or is it a renamed prologue version of the full Gran Turismo 7 title coming further in the future?
The listing has since been taken down, but hopefully we won't have long to wait to find out what this is all means, what do you believe Gran Turismo Sports is?
