News Gears of War 4 preorders live, Ultimate Edition details confirmed

Microsoft Studios confirmed earlier today that preorders for upcoming platform exclusive Gears fo War 4 are now available by the console's digital marketplace and via UK retail partners GAME.
Following up from its wonderful Tomorrow trailer earlier this month, the publisher's latest press release detailed the cost of the core game (£49.99) and the Season Pass (£39.99) which will provide all the DLC content made avalible for the game.
Alongside these items for the Gears fan who wants to get hold of everything at once the games beahmouth are releasing a speciial edition dubbed the Ultimate Edition.
The Ultimate Edition will include both a steelbook edition of the game and the season pass at a bundled price of £79.99 to save a few pennies, as well as the following additional perks:
- Permanent access to 24 additional DLC maps (released two per month) for private play via "a dedicated server"
- Access to a exclusive Developers playlist allowing players to experience and test new features, maps and modes before borad release
- Early Access to the Game on Friday Oct 7th, four days before its official release
- Six 'Gear Packs' which will unlock ingame skins, weapons and boosts
Players will also get a "Vintage VIP Pack which features Vintage JD (one of the games new protagonist) and two Vintage weapon skins.
