Kylotonn Games’ crash-centric racer FlatOut 4: Total Insanity has slammed onto the Steam platform a few weeks after initial launch on PS4 and Xbox One with a slew of exclusive content to make up for the delay.

In addition to all the cars, tracks and game modes of the original release, the Steam version of FlatOut 4: Total Insanity includes the following exclusive content:

  • Two exclusive vehicles: Ice breaker and Repair truck.
  • Two exclusive drivers: Gadget Stewart and Dave Worker.
  • Two exclusive arenas: Ice Lake Arena, Factory Arena.

Other features enhanced for Steam include Big Picture Mode compatibility, Steam Achievements, partial Steam Controller, support, Steam leaderboards, Steam Cloud and Steam Trading Cards. Steam Workshop support will also be added post launch. However, by far the most significant addition to FlatOut 4 on Steam is future wheel support, which wasn’t available on consoles.

“We are pleased and excited to launch FlatOut 4 Total Insanity on Steam, said Emanuel Wall, Director of Strategy First. "We will continue to add to the STEAM version with plans of integrating the THRUSTMASTER Steering Wheel and Steam Work Shop within the coming month.”

“With a truly global community, we have delivered the game across eight different languages including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese” said Roman Vincent, Chief Executive Officer of Kylotonn Games. “We also plan to expand our language support and updates in the future as we continue to listen to what Steam gamers want.”
