First Project CARS 2 DLC details disclosed

James Allen On May 9, 2017

The first official information on Project CARS 2's downloadable content setup has been disclosed by developer Slightly Mad Studios.

Revealed as part of the pre-order programme announcements, an industry-obligatory season pass will be offered to Project CARS 2 players who wish to "exhance and extend the overall experience" with premium post-launch content.

At time of writing, it's unknown what will be included as part of the season pass purchase, though Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed "dozens of cars" and "many tracks" will be featured - suggesting this setup will be similar in terms of structure and scope to the original Project CARS' DLC programme.

Project CARS 2 season pass owners will also have exclusive access to the Motorsport Pack, which contains the following four cars:
  • Audi V8 DTM
  • Jaguar E-Type V12 Group 44
  • Opel Astra TCR
  • Panoz Esperante GTR-1

Finally, a Japanese Cars Pack will be available to those who pre-order any version of Project CARS 2 bar the standard retail copy. As with the Motorsport Pack, four cars are included in this DLC, which have been listed below:
  • Honda 2&4 Concept
  • Honda Civic Type-R
  • Nissan 280SX GTX
  • Nissan R32 Skyline Group A

More information on Project CARS 2's post-launch content likely won't be revealed until after the game goes on sale in late 2017.
