Platform: PC, PS4

Publisher: Milestone S.r.l

Release Date: 24/06/2015

Following its recent announcement for release in June, Milestone has released the first gameplay trailer for MotoGP '15, showcasing a number of tracks realised in the revamped graphics engine.

The trailer shows footage of the Gran Premi Bwin De España (Jerez), Gran Premio d’Italia Tim (Mugello) and Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana (Valencia) circuits, before showcasing some MotoGP racing action.

It should be noted that the bike assets are taken from MotoGP '14, but the new game will of course feature 2015 content. Still, at least Milestone haven't resorted to releasing screenshots of empty tracks like before, although a Ride-esque rocking soundtrack returns.

Early indications look promising, but it's honestly too early to tell at this stage exactly how much the graphics have improved until we see the bike assets, but the tracks still look a bit too pristine for my liking. Ride's bike models were one of the game's stronger points, so it's safe we can expect  similarly high standards in MotoGP '15. Let's hope they apply more effort into modelling the tracks this time round. And more to the point, let's also hope MotoGP '15 isn't as big-ridden as Ride.

MotoGP '15 will be racing onto PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in June – that's the same month as F1 2015. Oh Milestone, do you ever learn your lesson?
