The free-to-play PC car combat title Crossout has now entered the closed beta testing phase.
Co-developed by Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment (the studios perhaps best known respectively for BlazeRush and War Thunder), the closed beta will be primarily open to players who participated in the title's previous testing phase.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=wMS_mdMg6xo%3Frel%3D0 Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment are accepting others users to join in on the closed beta, by accepting waves of prospective testers who register their interest on the official Crossout website.
It's also been revealed that items acquired through the premium 'early access kits' will be carried over when Crossout enters the open beta phase – which suggests the title won't remain in the closed beta phase for long.
Crossout is a Mad Max-esque free-to-play vehicular combat title that tasks players with pitting their custom cars against each other in PvP online multiplayer matches. Targem and Gaijin claim Crossout will feature an "advanced damge model", and that players will have "complete freedom" to create whatever type of combat vehicle they want with the parts they acquire at the end of each PvP round.
