The first preview images of Codemasters Racing's upcoming title F1 2015 have been leaked, ahead of a presumed full reveal later this year.

First posted on the F1 Game Memes page on Facebook (since removed), the pictures depict work-in-progress renders of the F1 2015 game from an in-house newsletter, complete with a first look at what the Mexico City circuit will look like once the real track's renovation is completed later this year.

The images also showcase Codemasters's plans for the title's car roster: the full 2014 grid will be featured in the game, complete with what Codemasters refers to as "a field of 2015 Hybrid" models (2014 cars with liveries and mild nosecone alterations to match the 2015-spec machinery). These "Hybrid" cars will be replaced by the correct renderings later down the line in a title update, though no timeframe for when this patch will be released appears to have been disclosed in the newsletter.

Additional information sourced from the newsletter text reveals that Codemasters Racing is targeting a 1080p resolution and a framerate of 60 frames per second for the finished game, with the work-in-progress builds running on the PlayStation 4 already hitting this resolution at 45 to 55 frames per second. The text also states that development on F1 2015 will continue for least the next three months, hinting at a June release date for the completed game.
