Spa-Francorchamps is the next destination in our continuing coverage of F1 2015 gameplay videos from the E3 stage floor. In this footage we take a look at F1 2015's wet weather effects and we get a glimpse of the game's slick menus in action too.
In the first lap Eau Rouge proves too tricky in the rain as our man runs very wide and nearly crashes into the cars in front of him as he re-joins the track only then to completely lose the back end and slam into the nearest barrier at around 100 mph. To say the start of the race was a bit of a mess would be understating it somewhat.
The crash actually gives us a good look at just how waterlogged the edges of the circuit are, which is also something we have seen in recent Forza Motorsport 6 footage. After a short while the driver composes himself as he gets to learn how the car behaves under these very difficult conditions.
Codemasters have really captured the wet weather conditions well here in my opinion with the nice misty look in the background of falling rain, and the dark threatening clouds, it all comes together to look very believable indeed.
Check out the wet weather footage below and let us know how good a job Codemasters are doing in capturing the wet weather effects in the comments.
