News Euro Truck Simulator 2’s Scandinavia expansion coming this week

The much anticipated Scandinavia expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 will finally release this coming week. The wait for the expansion has taken longer than SCS Software had originally anticipated due to the team juggling several projects at once including working on the new American Truck Simulator title.
The Scandinavia expansion includes Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and will add several new trailer models and over 80 new cargo options. The 80 new cargoes are divided into several categories including food, machinery, construction, ADR as well as general supplies. Each cargo has been assigned only to locations where it makes sense to haul from or deliver to. SCS Software have released a new trailer for the upcoming expansion, take a look below.
SCS Software are still currently working on the upcoming 1.17 update too which is due for release early next week (probably a day or two before the expansion launches I’d imagine). SCS are also looking to re-launch their website with all new presentation graphics.
Immediately after the release of the Scandinavia expansion, the dev team will be looking to arrange an open beta test of the 1.18 update which includes the Mercedes-Benz Actros truck. The Scandinavia expansion for Euro Truck simulator 2 will launch for PC on May 6, for more on the upcoming add-on take a look at the official Steam page.
