We've said it before, and we'll say it again: Evolution's post-release support of DriveClub has been nothing short of exemplary. At one point the game was close to being a write-off, but subsequent updates have slowly restored it into one of the most compulsive racing games in recent memory. Each month has seen a truckload of new quality content, and we can't stop coming back for more. March is no exception.

This week saw the reveal of arguably the best DLC pack to date: the Lamborghini expansion pack, due later this month. However, next week also marks the release of the next game update, and it's a substantial one. In what is arguably the most significant update since the dynamic weather update, V1.12 will finally add replays. For now, they will only be available in single player races, but a future patch will add support for online multiplayer replays too. Photo mode can also be activated during replays.

There are other interesting updates, too. The Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione, previously only available in online multiplayer, can now be unlocked for diligent players who have reached rank 50, and there are a number of game-enhancing tweaks, such as refinements to the Drift mode's scoring system, options to change the AI cars to match yours and other UI improvements.

And just when you thought the visuals couldn't possibly look any more eye-watering, Evolution have taken the time to enhance the atmospheric effects; "improving heathaze and introducing mirages, which are visible on the road when light is refracted by hot air." Now that's dedication.

A trailer offers a tantalysing glimpse of this month's content updates, including a look at the replay controls and cinematic camera angles, as well as revealing what free car you'll be getting. This month it's the Peugeot Onyx, the French firm's crazy concept hybrid supercar.  Yes, that's yet another new manufacturer in DriveClub for those that complain about the lack of variety, and while it isn't technically the first time the it's been featured in a game (that title belongs to Asphalt 8: Airborne), it is the first time it has featured in a console game.
