Okay, I know we've probably used the phrase "shaving off a few seconds" a few many times when describing lap times, but this is taking things a bit too far. As game tie-ins go, this one's pretty bizarre – for the discerning gentleman, we present the Phillips DriveClub-branded electric shaver. We get what they're trying to do here (Fast cars! Face hair! Man things!), but really?.
What's noteworthy here is that it comes bundled with some exclusive game content – along with 250,000 fame points to boost your ranking, you also get 10 exclusive car skins.
For those interested, the Philips Norelco DriveClub shaver can be ordered at BestBuy for $61.
This is certainly up there with the Assassin's Creed Edge Shaving Gel promotion. What's the most bizarre game tie-in you can remember?
