DriveClub continues to expand with the Redline DLC pack launching later this month on December 17th, adding five new cars, 11 new Tour events and five extra trophies.

Unlike the free Ignition pack released last month, the Redline pack will be the first paid-for DriveClub DLC pack. No pricing details have been announced, but it will be free for season pass holders.

A new video trailer showcases the five additional cars in action: the Renault Alpine AIID-50, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Mercedez-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive, McLaren F1 LM and the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

While we probably could have done without another Ferrari 458 (the 458 Speciale being a souped-up track version of the 458 Italia) and Mercedes SLS, there are some interesting additions here. It's not often you see the Renault A110-50 (a concept car built as a homage to the classic A110 rally car) in a racing game, while the addition of the Corvette Stingray is the first American car to feature DriveClub.  Hopefully it won't be the last, as DriveClub's European-centric car list feels a bit unbalanced at the moment.

Evolution also confirmed on Twitter that dynamic weather will feature prominently in the Redline Tour.

Will you be lapping up the DriveClub Redline pack?
