If you're a racing game fan pining over buying a PS4, chances are you've been holding off until the release of Evolution's long-delayed DriveClub, the console's first party exclusive racer that was originally due to race off the line at launch last November. Well, Sony has you in mind, with the announcement of two PS4 console DriveClub bundles speeding into retailers on the 8th of October.
First up is the Glacier White PS4 bundle with an RRP of €439.99., which bundles DriveClub with the same distinctive white PS4 and controller used in the Destiny bundle:
Then there's the PS4 Gamer bundle with an RRP of €499.99, which gives you DriveClub, a black PS4 console, two DualShock 4 controllers and a PlayStation Eye controller:
No word yet on a US release, as these bundles are only available in select European countries. The white edition will be available in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Czech, Hungary, Cyprus, UK, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Portugal, Norway and Spain, while the Gamer Edition will be available in: Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Ireland, UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Will you be picking either of these bundles up? The Gamer Edition is particularly good value, but it's a shame they recycled the Glacier White PS4 console – I can't help but see it as synonymous with Destiny. Couldn't they have used a different colour for DriveClub?
