DriveClub's July DLC pack has finally been detailed, with the announcement of the Horsepower Expansion Pack powering onto PSN next week, adding another five cars to DriveClub's exotica roster.
Evolution aren't holding back this month. As the name implies, the theme of the Horsepower Expansion is insanely fast track versions of road-going supercars: you can look forward to driving the lightning-fast 1036 bhp LaFerrari FXX K along with the Nissan GT-R NISMO, McLaren P1 GTR, Renault Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy-R and the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione.

Most of these track toys are making their racing game debut in DriveClub, too. Season pass holders will be able to pick €6/£5/$6 USD/$9 AUD when it's released on July 28th and presumably July 29th in Europe in-line with the PSN store update.
The Horsepower Expansion is the last planned car DLC pack since DriveClub's launch last October, but you can hardly grumble at both the quality and quantity of the released content. In fact, it's one of the best value season passes we've ever encountered: eight expansions have been released since last November, adding an additional 38 cars to DriveClub. Don't forget the Tour Packs which added 88 more offline events to the main Tour. The only thing DriveClub is lacking is new locations, as Japan has been the only new location to be added so far.
And yet Evolution are still showing no signs of slowing down, with the promise of yet more content furhter down the line: "We are still expanding DRIVECLUB and there's lots more to come! Stay with us, we will reveal more soon," they said in a response to a user on FaceBook. Could a second season pass be around the corner?
Which cars are you looking forward to driving in the Horsepower Expansion Pack?
