Release Date: 2019 (MacOS and Linux)

YouTube channel Erased Citizens has uploaded another DiRT 4 gameplay video which gives us a look at more gameplay action along with some game settings and options.

At the very start of the video the player is asked to choose between the normal or simulation handling styles, (each having their own separate leaderboards) although it’s safe to say we don’t expect the simulation setting to resemble anything like DiRT Rally, it’s a welcome addition nonetheless.

Once you’ve chosen your handling mode you are then asked to select your difficulty preset. Presets come in four different flavours, the easiest setting “Gamer” gives you slower AI opponents, unlimited restarts, full driving assists and a 8% difficulty bonus (which we can assume is either cash winnings or experience leveling) “Racer” has faster AI, a 10 restart limit, partial assists and a 27% difficulty bonus.

Furthermore, the “Pro” setting has tough AI, a 5 restart limit, limited assists and a 62% difficulty bonus and there’s a final mode entitled “Fearless” (which comes with a whopping 95% difficulty bonus) which will no doubt offer the toughest AI, no restarts and no assists one can imagine.

The video also gives us a look at the various discipline modes on offer which include Rally, Historic Rally, Rally Cross and Land Rush. DiRT 4 will release on June 9 and will be available for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. Check out the gameplay video below.
