The North American racing game studio formerly known as Dusenberry Martin Racing (DMR) has been officially rebranded as 704Games.
Coinciding with the announcement of former NASCAR senior vice president Paul Brooks as the studio's new CEO, the rebrand to 704Games is said to pay homage to the developer's home city of Charlotte in North Carolina.
As part of the renaming, DMR's exclusive license to develop official NASCAR games will be transferred over to 704Games. The recently re-named studio's first official title (a sequel to last year's NASCAR: Heat Evolution) will be released sometime during Autumn 2017.
704Games is also working on a NASCAR title for mobile devices that's due for release sometime in Spring 2017. It's currently unknown if this title will be a port of NASCAR: Heat Evolution, or a game developed from the ground-up for mobile devices.
