News Cunningham C-4R awarded Gran Turismo Trophy at Pebble Beach 2015

A vintage Cunningham C-4R racing car has won the 'Gran Turismo Trophy' award at this year's Pebble Beach concourse event.
Once a highly competitive sports car racer, the 1952 Cunningham C-4R that won this award will now be guaranteed to feature in a future Gran Turismo release.
Gran Turismo Trophy winners at prior Pebble Beach concourse shows also suggest the Cunningham will have plenty of contemporaries (such as the Aston Martin DB3S and Ferrari 500 Mondial coupe) to be fielded against when it eventually makes its racing game debut.
This particular Cunningham C-4R has the most notable history of the four C-4Rs which were ever built, having won in its class and finished third overall at the 1954 24 Heures du Mans endurance race (only a factory-supported Jaguar D-Type and a victorious Ferrari 375 Plus finished ahead of the C-4R).
Even though Gran Turismo 7 is still in development, it's unknown if the Cunningham C-4R will be rendered in time for that game's eventual release in the near future.
